News of the weird
You can't say the word 'weird' without talking about Girlfriend first. I was in Pittsburgh last week for work and we got together while I was there. You guys have to ask her to tell you the story about the time she went on a tour of Chernobyl and was bitten by a radioactive mosquito.
Swear to God.
Could I make that shit up?
Though I'm sure it's a much funnier story after you've been sitting in a pub for 3 hours and are on your 5th White Russian but whatever.
And surgery is today so everyone keep your fingers crossed that they don't accidentally amputate her arm or something. Though I still think that thing is full of mosquito larvae.
::shudder::
Also on the weird-o-meter is VFB. So I had chosen to Ignore the Friend Request and that was that. Or so I thought. He has become a persistent little bugger since than, repeatedly adding me as a 'friend' each time I ignore him. I currently have request #4 sitting in my inbox. No added messages from him; just this ongoing quest to be my Facebook Friend.
Freak.

Best wishes to Girlfriend.
Also, bizarre on VFB constantly friending you! Talk about not taking the hint.
I had a ganglion cyst on the top of my wrist a couple of weeks ago. It was so painful I couldn't do my job. (I'm a writer too)
I used Bach flower remedy. I massaged a drop of it in about three times per day. It was gone on three days.
For the record, I tried all sorts of other thing, massage oils, lotions, compresses. (I hate doctors and with this immune system problem, a doctors visit could land me in the hospital with a nasty bug like pneumonia.)
So, I used Bach Flower remedy, three items per day, and gently massaged it in.
I sure hope they didn't amputate her arm. Any word on how it went??
