Update: condensed version

Let's see: my daughter had to be taken back to the doctor's on Wednesday. She's still infected so we are now doing another round of antibiotics. She'll see her specialist next week. Oh joy. I've been working terribly long hours (hence no blog posting in the last week). I was behind schedule anyway and taking off most of last week to be with the sicko certainly didn't help matters. I'll be working late again tonight and then I'll actually be going out this evening. Can you believe it?!?! This is not something I've ever gotten to do often, but with the Paperweight being gone, I haven't had 2 seconds to myself. I can't even go to the store for milk alone. The boy is the same. He may not be perfect but at least he's consistent. In fact, he is probably the most consistent thing in my life right now. And doesn't that say a lot? Nothing new with the Paperweight relationship. Actually, his new trick is to stay at the house. He still has keys since he occasionally will shuttle the girl to or from preschool. And there have been a few times when I've wakened to find him asleep on my couch. Other then that, nothing new. He continues to only give me small amounts of money and only when he feels like it. He's still asking on a regular basis to move back home but continues to not do anything in order to allow me to let him come back. I seriously think he figures if he waits long enough he can wear me down. Ha! How little does he know me? I'm the Queen of stubborn. I'm the kind of girl who would cut of my nose to spite my face, if it means not giving in. Not normally a fine quality, true, but it is coming in handy as of late. Well, I'm off to work my ass off then I'll be swimming in green beer. Yum! I'll be more exciting next week - I promise. In the mean time, check out my list of fellow bloggers. A lot of damn good ones there.

Top o' the mornin' to ya Fauve! Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Have fun tonight, but be careful with the green beer -- too much can cause a 'green revolt' in your digestive system! Not pretty.

Ok. I know I've said this before. But I can't help it. Every time I come to this site I get so tickled with the title I almost forget to read anything else.

Hope the daughter is feeling better.

Hope the daughter is feeling well (and you too). Keep your head above water. That's about all you can do at this point.
