I know...
I did so well posting there for awhile. But don't worry, you haven't missed much. Mostly it's been just getting ready for the kids to start school next week.
Note the plural there. The Girl starts Kindergarten on Monday. [sigh] Where has the time gone? Don't worry though. I'm not all that mopey about it. While it gives a little tug at the heart to see my baby growing up, it's wonderful to see how far she's come. My shy little baby has turned into a bright beautiful girl.
Of course, this is the same blue-eyed blonde cutie who realized for the first time this week that if she farts in the bath tub she can make bubbles.
One more item for the memory book, eh?

Mines choosing colleges. Have you seen tuition rates lately?
My baby started 2nd grade this year. For some reason, that was harder on me than when she started kindergarten. Weird huh?
I still have one at home...2 more years for him...sigh. But I sent my daughter to full-day school for the first time last week (we sure do start early here...but we get out in May, too!). She only had 1/2 day kindergarten last year. She's struggling to learn the ropes with the cafeteria and other things. Ah...but it's a bit more quiet right now!
Yes it's a little frantic around here too - last week!

Aaaah, school. I thought I would be more sad when my baby started a few years ago, but I wasn't. I was so proud of her.

Kindergarten? No way... while it's incredibly exciting for her, I can't help but remember that you just had her like yesterday. Time flies. As I can also attest. Jake just began his senior year at college. *sigh*
Ok, the fart comment made me inhale my cookie and then cough it out while trying to laugh. :)
My Monkey is starting pre-school in two weeks. He can't wait, and I'm totally not ready yet...

Cute..fart bubbles. With my son it was white water condidtions. A bouquet beats an avalanche anyday...
that adorable little girl is just as mischevious and curious about the world as i suspected! good for the fart bubbles, they can be awfully fun!
