Not even remotely interested in blogging

Kind of ironic a name for a blog post, eh? Just thought I'd pass along that little FYI so you didn't think I up and died on you or anything. Things have just changed for me and I don't seem to have a need for this blog at the present time. The Thing and I have found out that we are quite grateful, in love, content and whatever the opposite of bitter is...

Sounds weird, doesn't it? Some people hearing the 'c' word and become bitter & angry. However, I was really lucky. Really really lucky, and I know it. It wasn't the worst so we're flying high on gratitude, but bad enough to scare the crap out of us and have us make some changes. I haven't smoked since, became vegetarian, and have exercised every day. It has made me call off work, play more with my kids and makes Thing buy me lots of presents. He has already planned an 8 day vacation; starting at a resort in Palm Desert and continuing on a drive up the coast back to San Francisco.
I don't even pretend like I care if I keep my job any more. I roll my eyes at people and their blathering a lot, stare out my window more and last night I spent $41 on an orange bra at Victoria's Secret. It's probably the least practical item of clothing that was ever made, but it's pretty and it's mine.
Sure, I still get annoyed and/or frustrated at some stupid day-to-day stuff, but I'm human. But that angry, miserable, fork-in-the-head woman?
I don't know what happened to her. I was too busy buying the matching panties...
