Why I drink #306
My great aunt emailed me today to tell me the latest family controversy.
[insert ominous sounding music here]
Apparently, my 93 year old grandmother that was recently placed in a nursing home has decided she wants dentures so that she can eat what everybody else is eating. But her kids don't want to spend the money to let her have them.
I should have stayed in bed this morning.....

Someone would deny their own mother TEETH?! HAHAHA - she must be as bad as my mother. I'm writing that idea down.
Holy carp. How much are dentures? We can start a collection...
Lord have mercy. I guess she's too much of a burden, so denying her the dentures, ultimately denies her good nutrition, thereby hastening her demise. Not at all cool.
At the nursing home that my gradmom was in the inmates would wander around and just pop any old set of teeth the picked up into their mouth. That might work for your aunt.
