Fork in the head Friday
If you thought the last example of zero tolerance was outrageous, just wait until you read these.
First, we have Happy Crack, which I was going to post last week, but I was too distracted by my feet.
Next, we have the girl in middle school with a gun........ohhhh wait a minute, that doesn't say gun, it's gum....
And since I'm on a roll......
Maybe administrators need to spend less time worrying about toys, gum and candy and spend more time checking out their teachers.

Okay, so if possession of stimulants on school grounds is illegal, which is why the student got in trouble, does that mean coffee is banned from campus? No coffee in the teacher's lounge, office, or on the teacher's desk in the classroom?
Hey, what kind of example are the teachers setting if they're walking around with "legal stimulants"--as Tom Hanks says in You've Got Mail--when the kids aren't supposed to have any of it?
Ack. Too wound up this morning from dealing with idiots. Sorry!
Oh, wait--another thought: Does that mean the school also serves only caffeine-free sodas to students, or are sodas banned on the school grounds entirely??
Holy shit - you mean I could have gotten out of gym class for only a dollar a day?! That's an awesome setup! They shouldn't have busted that teacher!
Hilarious!
Does anyone remember those candy cigarettes??? I grew up fake-smoking those suckers and didn't grow up to be a real smoker. Sheesh.
In the process of sucking all the fun out of life (You haven't lived unless you've stayed up all night and then made it through an entire day of school juiced on No-Doz!) I think these "adults" are forgetting that forbidden fruit is often more tempting.
Regarding the soda issue, I can't verify this because I could not find an article, but I did here a little more about it on the radio this morning.
Apparently, school officials, when confronted with the soda machines, said that the machines are on a timer so that students can only buy soda after school hours.......
Um, yeah. I don't get it either.
First, it's still on school grounds.
Second, what kind of mixed message is THAT sending? It's okay to do "drugs" as long as it's after 3 pm?
you gotta check this out......
